Living on a Mountain sustainably

I bought a mountain and I want to create a sustainable way of life on it. But, I don’t know how to do it. I’m looking for people to send me their ideas or tips on what I should be doing in regards to farming, gathering water & energy, type of house or materials to use or even what animals I should have. So far I’m thinking of doing permaculture & building an earthship. What do you think?
